Our client Loose Cannon manufactures an award-winning communication device, Milo the Action Communicator, for outdoor sports.Wind noise is a big challenge for maintaining clear voice communication, and also triggers the microphone which consumes power.We developed custom machine learning algorithms to reduce the background noise in conversations. Our algorithms are specially tailored to work on low-power devices, without compromising on performance. Our approach not only improves the speech intelligibility, but also lowers Milo's power consumption so the user enjoys clearer conversations and longer battery life.
